2007年に「Speedo（スピード）」のライセンス事業をスタートし、翌年に世界同時発表されたLZR Racer（レーザーレーサー）。レーザーレーサーを着用した選手たちは次々と世界記録を更新し話題となった。スピード社と契約を交わしていたマイケル・フェルプス選手は北京オリンピックで8個の金メダルを獲得し、1大会における金メダル獲得数が過去最高であったことは記憶に新しい。この水着はスポーツにおけるウエアの重要性を浮き彫りにしたと同時に、様々な議論も呼んだ。ゴールドウインは、飛び込み時や泳いでいる際に絶え間無く変化する筋肉の動きを考慮し、3次元の形状の理解やパターンメイキングの向上のために研究を重ね、静止中だけでなく、様々な動的な動きの記録を録ってきた。水泳に限らず、より着心地の良い服を生み出すべく、人体の構造を理解するために研究を行ってきたのだ。その背景もあり、スピード社との開発もスムーズに進行していった。この製品はポリウレタン素材を採用し強い着圧でボディーの凸凹を抑えることによって、水の抵抗を抑えタイム短縮を可能にした。オリンピック競泳メダリストの松田丈志選手をはじめ、多くの日本人トップスイマーの体型データを研究し、日本人スイマーの体型にフィットする水着を開発してきた。最近では「Fastskin LZR Racer J（ファストスキン レーザーレーサー ジェイ）」といった進化版を発表したり、レーザーレーサーシリーズで使用している素材や縫製技術などをアパレル向けにデザインした「Speedo Workout（スピード ワークアウト）」を発売したりと選手だけでなく、一般の人にも幅広く愛されるアイテムを打ち出している。

GOLDWIN has studied body shape data of many Japanese top swimmers including Olympic swimming medalist, Mr. Takeshi Matsuda, and has developed swimwear that fit the body shapes of the Japanese swimmers.
